John Kerry, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, is a United States Army Veteran, having served as a Cargo Specialist (88H). Following his military service, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Government with a minor in Psychology from Nicholls State University. At just 25 years old, Kerry took a bold step in his professional journey, founding Xstrataflo®, a management consulting firm (formerly Kerry Consulting Group), in 2011.

As the President of Xstrataflo®, Kerry specializes in crisis management, business operations, strategy development, and revenue growth. His firm is known for transforming businesses, managing operations for both new and existing companies, and expanding its footprint across the United States. With a track record of success in turning around struggling companies, Xstrataflo® has become a trusted partner for businesses seeking to scale and thrive.

In addition to his consulting work, Kerry has extensive experience in political campaign management, having worked on several local and statewide campaigns, including a United States Senate campaign in Louisiana. His leadership extends beyond consulting, having served on numerous boards and committees, including Tau Kappa Epsilon, Director of Thibodaux Main Street, and as an elected member of the Lafourche Parish Executive Committee, where he ran unopposed. He also served as the Hospitality Coordinator for a national political convention in New Orleans.

Kerry is deeply committed to giving back to his community. His philanthropic efforts are focused on supporting Catholic Charities and organizations dedicated to alleviating poverty through his own nonprofit, the John R. Kerry Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. His work continues to positively impact the lives of those in need, particularly within his local community.
