Path to Priesthood

I am writing this letter to share something deeply personal and important about the next chapter of my life. After much prayer, discernment, counsel, and reflection, I have made the decision to enter seminary as I continue the path toward the priesthood as a Catholic diocesan priest.
This decision is not one I arrived at quickly or lightly. Since the summer of 2024, I have been praying and discerning my vocation with the guidance of my spiritual director, conversations with clergy and seminarians, and through personal experiences that have continued to reveal where God may be calling me. Through this process, I have come to recognize a deeper invitation to dedicate my life in service to Christ and His Church. In this timeframe, and currently, I serve as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, Altar Server and Lector for my church here in New Orleans, and other roles as well.
A life of service has always been something instilled in me. From my time in the Army, to serving as Director of Student Rights & Grievances in college, to my role as Executive Director of Thibodaux Main Street, to managing political campaigns, and eventually owning and operating a management consulting firm, Xstrataflo, the common thread has always been service.
For nearly fifteen years, I have had the privilege of building and operating Xstrataflo. This November will mark 15 years in business, and while we will continue accepting clients during this transition period, I plan to officially conclude operations in Spring 2027 as I prepare for the next chapter of my life and formation in seminary.
The months ahead will consist of a longgggggg transition as I prepare for seminary. This will be an exciting and meaningful time, but it will also be a challenging one, including the financial responsibilities that come with preparing for this journey. Seminary formation requires not only spiritual preparation, but also practical support as I transition away from my professional career.
As I begin this new chapter, there are two meaningful ways you can help:
